Take sightseeing to a whole new level with our 24 Bridges Marathon challenge. Starting in Teddington, you’ll let the Thames lead you into Central London. As you follow the river’s curves, you’ll come across London’s most iconic sights and conclude your challenge upon London’s finest: Tower Bridge.

  • Accommodation can be organised for the nights before/after the trek. We can look into hotel or hostel options, depending on your preference.

  • This challenge is difficulty ranked: 2 out of 5.

    Expect either longer distance, or higher altitude gain but generally not too much of both combined. Terrain underfoot will mostly be on well used trails. As you take on higher ascent, it will take longer to escape back to road. Ascent will be minimal for urban based marathon treks. Escape route options are available which may just consist of turning back around on straightforward mountain treks.

    You must be active with a moderate fitness level. You should be going out for regular walks and possibly other sports (swimming / football / gym etc.) You should be comfortable with longer walks of 3-4 hours over 7-10 miles in rolling countryside. Good all round fitness is expected.

your on-event support team

Leaders/Marshals will support the group along the correct route and ensure everyone is safe and accounted for.

Our Leaders/Marshals are extremely experienced, often with top-notch local knowledge, carry appropriate resources and are first-aid trained.

Included on events for larger numbers, a support vehicle is on hand for emergency support (where accessible) and refreshment provision. Often an 8-seater or similar, it acts an essential resource in the event of participant fatigue or injury.

On long day treks, the support vehicle can carry water and refreshments to be offered to participants at appropriate checkpoints.

Our team love nothing more than helping fellow walkers achieve their potential. They'll be there when you falter, to give you a helping hand, some encouraging words, or even a stern talking to. Their support will see you through so that, at the end of your challenge, you'll be able to stand there and say
