classic peak district skyline
The Peak District was the UK’s first National Park, established in April 1951. Boasting limestone dales, rolling hills, farmland and gritstone edges, the Park attracts over 13 million people each year. Our 32km loop takes you deep into the enchanting heart of this beautiful landscape and over 6 peaks.

This challenge is difficulty ranked: 2.5 out of 5.
Expect longer distance or higher altitude gain, yet neither will be mutually exclusive! Terrain underfoot will be on well used trails but with the liklihood of some rougher features. These events would suit someone of good all round fitness, who takes exercise regularly - without neccessarily being of high fitness. Escape routes are available but may take some time to utilise.
You must be active with a moderate fitness level. You should be going out for regular walks and other sports (swimming / football / gym etc.) You should be comfortable with longer walks of 3.5-4 hours over 9-11 miles in rolling countryside. Good all round fitness & leg strength is expected.
